      Mahindra Xylo launched, Scorpio expected to be launched next

      India's leading auto-giant in the UV segment has launched the refreshingly new Xylo MPV. The new face-lifted version of Xylo is available in two trims – the BS III version comes with a lucrative price tag of Rs. 7.52 lakhs, whereas the BS IV variant has been launched for Rs. 7.66 Lakhs. A while ago many sources on the Internet stated the the launch day for new Scorpio to be on 25th September i.e tomorrow, but Mahindra has not reveled the official date yet.

      Recently, sources from BHP had managed to capture un-camouflaged images of the new Scorpio. It is said that the new Mahindra Scorpio may be available in five trims namely - S2, S4, S6, S8 and S10. The vehicle has not received major technical upgrades this time and the changes have been restricted to majorly cosmetic uplift. The new Mahindra Scorpio shall continue to be powered by 2.2 Liter engine that generates about 120 Ps of power with 290 Nm of torque. The vehicle is likely to get a further refined gearbox and enhanced fuel efficiency figures.

      Based on what can been seen from Spyshots the vehicle has received redesigned wind splitters that blend well with the sharply designed grill. The headlamps are slightly wider and gets eye's like DRL's. Colling in the cabin area is better with an improved AC system. For entertainment, easy navigation and quality music the vehicle gets a touch screen enabled infotainment system. Big space with redone upholstery gives the SUV an upmarket feel. The Side fascia of the vehicle has not received major changes except for dual tone rear view mirror. Diamond White, Mist Silver and Fiery Black are the common shades that have been present with the Scorpio line, but this time Mahindra has also added shades of Molten Red and Regal Blue to the new upcoming line.
