India’s leading utility vehicle maker Mahindra has just introduced the Scorpio Adventure – a limited edition model for the Scorpio. We say limited edition because this new model has been launched with a production run of 1,000 units, with each example costing Rs 13.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai).
This limited run model is based on the S10 variant of the regular Scorpio and comes with a few additional features such as reversing camera and wing mirrors with side indicators. The vehicle also gets smoked tail lamps and triple jet windscreen washer.
Design wise, the dual-tone exterior is enhanced with adventure-themed decals, gun metal alloy wheels and red brake callipers. Inside, you will find faux-leather seats with new fabric inserts besides the additional equipment.
Under the hood, the Scorpio Adventure is powered by a 120bhp mHawk engine and a manual gearbox. In keeping with the Adventure tag, Mahindra is also offering four-wheel drive besides the two-wheel drive configured model.
