Mahindra Reva, the electric car division of country’s largest utility vehicle maker Mahindra Group, has been counted among the ‘Top 50 Most Innovative Global Companies’ list. This survey was conducted by the Fast Company magazine and is believed to be one of the coveted titles of the year. The auto maker has been credited for its pioneering contributions in the worldwide electric vehicle industry, which has legitimated the brand to step into the rankings.
Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Private Limited is felicitated with the 22nd position in the list of Top 50 Most Innovative Global Companies of 2013. Interestingly, Mahindra Reva is also planning to soon introduce its new electric car e2o, which is sure to witness a decent response from masses.
In the ceremony, the Chairman of Mahindra Group, Keshub Mahindra said that it is a primary goal of the auto maker to design a new era of transport options in the country and offer its customers best-in-class ownership experience. The numero uno position in ‘Top 50 Most Innovative Global Companies’ 2013 list was grabbed by Nike, whereas Apple and Samsung was offered with 13th and 17th positions, respectively.
The philosophy followed by Fast Company magazine in listing companies is the subsequent technology incorporated by them, in order to reach their goals in the competitive world. Experts believe that with these awards and ceremonies, companies experience a boost in their moral, which facilitates them to focus on their primary goals more aggressively.
