The assembly operations of Mahindra e2o will be taken over by the company's state-of-the-art and cutting edge electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Bangalore. The company's world class Bangalore based production unit is India's first platinum certified automobile assembling plant. MREVPL claims that its assembly unit has an annual production capacity of 30,000 electric powered cars, which explains its big ambitious plans for electric vehicle venture in the Indian auto market.

Top Industry experts believe that pricing strategy of the soon-to-be launched Mahindra e2o is going to play a vital role in determining its future and impact in the Indian auto market. The upcoming Mahindra e2o hatch is anticipated to be launched with a base price tag around Rs. 5 lac or Rs. 6 lac, which could definitely help the company in posing problems to the well established compact hatchback players in domestic passenger car market.
