Mahindra Racing, in collaboration with Pininfarina, have released three concept designs for a future Formula E racing car. These images offer a glimpse of their creative project together and the potential of its Formula E team.
Pininfarina teamed up with the Mahindra Group in December 2015 signing an investment agreement with Tech Mahindra. Chief Creative Officer of Pininfarina Fabio Filippini commented: “Formula E is one of the most exciting signs of the changes underway in the automotive world as well as in motor racing. Mahindra Racing is one of nine teams – and the only Indian team – to compete in the FIA Formula E Championship. They entered the second season of Formula E as one of eight manufacturers developing its own electric powertrain. With this second generation Mahindra Racing car, the M2Electro, the team hopes to build on the success of the inaugural FIA Formula E Championship.
