According to reports, the Quanto facelift is expected to be named as the Canto or the Cresto. It will be a cosmetically updated vehicle, but under the new skin will be the same sub-four metre vehicle. However, the mild changes are expected to give the car a fresh look. These include a new grille, headlamps with DRLs, a restyled hood scoop and revised bumpers. The interior will also get minor changes including some additional features and an upgrade in quality of the upholstery.

The powertrain of the upcoming Quanto facelift is expected to be the same. It is the 1.5-litre three-cylinder twin-scroll turbo diesel engine that produces 100bhp of power and 240Nm of torque. However, apart from the conventional five-speed manual gearbox, we can also expect a variant featuring an AMT gearbox like the one in the Quanto AMT autoSHIFT that was showcased at the previous edition of the Auto Expo.

The refreshed Quanto might get updates borrowing traits from the design language of the new KUV100. The new aesthetic appeal should also bring it close to the design of other Mahindra products like the Scorpio and XUV500. This Quanto will be the last offering from Mahindra for this quarter and might be launched soon.
