      Mahindra & Mahindra introduces the Alfa Plus

      India’s leading SUV manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.) launched the Alfa Plus. This vehicle is a longer deck variant of the earlier launched 3 wheeler Alfa Load carrier. For intra-city road transport, this vehicle has been developed. Distributors of gas cylinders, mineral water and consumer goods will be greatly benefited by this 3 wheeler. Apart from powerful engine, this vehicle has spacious, comfortable and ergonomically designed cabin.

      Due to longest cargo box in its class, a 20% increase in carriage of load volume can be expected from the Alfa Plus, which will also boost the earning of the customers. The spacious cabin offers comfortable long drive whereas the bigger wheel base provides maximum stability to the vehicle. As far as mileage is concerned, the Alfa Plus will deliver higher fuel efficiency. Due to robust transmission, gear box life is increased by up to 20%. An increase in engine torque by 8% will provide more power to the engine. Clutch life will also increase by 50%.

      With the tagline ‘Bade Fayde ke liye Bada Alfa’ a lower operating costs and higher load carrying ability are offered by the Alfa Plus. The new vehicle will be manufactured at the Haridwar and Zaheerabad plant of Mahindra & Mahindra.

      At the launch of the Alfa Plus, Mr. Vivek Nayer, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “With the launch of the Alfa Plus we have significantly enhanced the value proposition for our customers and hence strengthened our 3W load product portfolio. This product is specially designed to cater to the needs of captive segment businessmen and traders and will make transportation of voluminous cargo easier. ‘’
