The launch of the Mahindra KUV100 is just a couple of days away and the new compact crossover has been spotted as it arrived at a dealership in Mumbai. The new KUV100 will be the smallest crossover from Mahindra and this will be competing with the Hyundai Grand i10 and the Maruti Suzuki Celerio.

The new Mahindra KUV100 will be powered by a range of new-generation engines that are called as mFalcon. The petrol is a 1.2-litre engine that churns 82bhp of power (mFalcon G80), while the diesel is a 1.2-litre that produces 77bhp of power. Both these engines will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission and there is even likely to be an AMT for both the engines. This crossover is much smaller than four metres.

The new KUV100 is a five-seater and it will be attracting young car buyers. The K stands for Kool and 100 is the size. This is smaller than the TUV300 and the XUV500. The KUV100 gets features like keyless entry (not the smart key), in-dash music system with bluetooth connection, steering mounted audio controls, reverse parking sensors, daytime running LEDs and 15-inch alloy wheels.
