The India-made Mahindra KUV100 has been launched in South Africa at a price ranging between R 1,49,995 to R 197,995 (INR 6.48 lakh to INR 8.55 lakh). The micro SUV is available in three variants – K4+, K6+ and K8. The K6+ and the K8 is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options, while the K4+ is only available in petrol.
Under the hood, the Mahindra KUV100 gets a G80 1.2-litre mFalcon three-cylinder engine which generates 81bhp of power and 115Nm of torque. The diesel variant gets a G75 1.2-litre mFalcon engine which generates 76bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. The engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. In terms of safety, the car comes gets standard ABS with EBD and dual-front airbags.
The Mahindra KUV100 comes loaded with features like infotainment system with built-in driver system, engine stop-start system, lead-me-to-vehicle headlamps and follow-me-home headlamps, front and rear foglamps, and spider-design alloy wheels. As for the interiors, it gets a two-tone interior with piano black inserts.
