Mahindra, the renowned two-wheeler manufacturer, has been working hard to get its two-wheelers to reach the common masses in India. It is trying to tweak its models to make it more user-friendly, affordable and customised to meet the demands of the general public. In this aspect, it had recently launched a much toned-down version of Centuro Rockstar at a much lower price, giving a miss to some of the vital specifications. This was primarily done to boost its sales so that this bike would become more affordable. The brand is now ready to sell Arro – its entry level bike during the festive season in India. Interestingly, the two-wheeler has already been made available for the market in Uganda, at an approximate price of 70147 INR.

What is interesting about the Arro is that it is a commercial two-wheeler, which has been specifically designed for usage in Africa. The researchers have made a good work on this basis and the bike suits the demands of the landscape and climate in Africa. This bike has a powerful outlook with a double cradle exceptionally strong cradle region; durable metallic front fender region and 5-step adjustable rear shock absorbers. For the same reason, Arro has been looked upon as a powerful bike capable of bearing the brunt on irregular roads and a rough climate.

The technical specifications also are a positive aspect of this two-wheeler that has made it a much anticipated variant from Mahindra. It has 106.7 cc MCi-5 engine, which has also been installed in the Pantero and Centuro. The engine churns out a power of 8.5 bhp that is quite a thing for the bumpy roads. The petrol tank is sufficiently large and is placed in front of the extra-long comfortable seat. The headlamp is round and quite large in size just to give that extra edge during the night. The tail lamp in the rear portion is made stylish just to give it a stylish look overall. The bike has an analogue console, a fuel tank, which is capable of holding 13.7 litres of fuel, extra stylish blinkers and tubular grab rail cum carrier. The fuel filler cap has been specifically designed like that of aircraft. It is expected that the Arro will have a much more competitive price as compared to Rockstar. It can be just below 40000 INR as compared to the over Rs. 45000 of Rockstar (ex-showroom).
