      Mahindra 4X4 track at CII Auto show demonstrates

      First-of-its-kind Mahindra 4X4 track replete with water bodies, slush, ramp and gravel

      To give enthusiasts a real time feel of off-road driving and a first hand experience of the SUV’s capabilities

      Reiterates Mahindra’s DNA of manufacturing tough and rugged vehicles

       

      Hyderabad, May 13, 2010: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has devised a first-of-its-kind 4X4 track at the CII Auto Show in Hyderabad starting May 13 – May 16, 2010. M&M has been the first in India to create a 4x4 track to give visitors a first hand experience of the vehicle’s capabilities. Keeping in line with M&M’s endeavor to reinforce its heritage and off-roading equity, the entire track is especially interspersed by water bodies, slush, ramp and gravel to give enthusiasts a real time feel of off-road driving.

       

      M&M has acquired indoor space at the autoshow for displaying their vehicles - Scorpio, Bolero and Xylo near the 4x4 track area. The track is adjacent to the indoor premises of the Scorpio S collection stall that showcases a wide array of lifestyle branded accessories such as coffee mugs, bags, strolley bags, T-shirts, Mahindra Great Escape Game, etc. The customers visiting the 4X4 area will need to buy a merchandise of any value from the store for a ride on the 4X4 track.

       

      Speaking about the 4x4 track Mr. Vivek Nayer, Sr VP Marketing, Automotive Division Mahindra and Mahindra said, “ Mahindra vehicles have a tough and rugged DNA which gives them unique offroading capabilities. Through this unique 4x4 track, we are offering people a chance to experience the thrill of driving our vehicles offroad and hopefully be a part of our bigger Mahindra Great Escape offroad adventure event in the future ! ”
