However, he did not specify the reason behind taking the bike down and generally it is being said that he wanted to repair his bike that was in a bad shape for which he even expressed his desire over Twitter by tweeting "I think my plan of action is to restore the 1st bike that I bought for rs4500...its in a very bad shape."

What followed a series of tweets, Dhoni also told that he cleaned the parts of the bike with plenary care. The captain of Indian cricket team tweeted "Ok back to work now, have to clean these two. This will be my 1st ever restoration work", before cleaning the spare parts of the vehicle. After completing the job, he wrote "Finally it's clean, No more work for today." In the recent time, the cherished Indian cricketer has been spending his holidays by cruising along the roads of Ranchi on his favourite bikes. Dhoni recently told on Twitter that he visited a friend's house in HEC township of Ranchi by riding on his bike. He later on tweeted that during his adolescent age, he used to play street cricket in that part of the locality.

Dhoni is an avid bike lover and his passion for them can be assessed from the fact that he owns around 12 bikes and 10 cars. It is being also learnt that MSD likes to add a new car or bike to his inventory of automobiles. Apart from buying these costly machines, he also has a passive ride them around his home town Ranchi, whenever he gets a break from his cricketing schedule. His long list of bikes include Yamaha RX, Confederate Hellcat X 132, Yamaha RX-Z, Kawasaki ZX14R Ninja, Harley Davidson Fat Boy and others. The cricketer hailing from Ranchi also owns a two-wheeler racing team known as Mahi Racing Team, which participates in the World Super-bike Championship competition.
