Lister cars, the popular British motorsport car tuner claims that the company will roll out the world’s fastest SUV. The upcoming SUV, a retuned version of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR will compete against the likes of Lamborghini Urus and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Teased in a signature green and yellow paint scheme, the performance SUV will be limited to just 250 units.

The standard Jaguar F-Pace SVR is powered by a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine that generates 545bhp and 680Nm of torque. Post the tuning upgrades by Lister, it is speculated to generate around 671bhp of power. This means that the SUV will hold potential to reach top speeds in excess of 300kmph and sprint from 0 – 100kmph in under 3.5 seconds to make it the fastest. In its standard form, the F-Pace SVR is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100kmph in just about 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 282kmph.

To handle that additional bit of performance, the vehicle will get new anti-roll bar, new active exhaust system, sport spring and dampers, and lightweight brakes. The vehicle will also sit on wide profile tyres and bigger brakes than the one on the standard model. Lister had recently showcased the heavily reworked version of F-Type R, called the Lister Thunder. The company has limited the production for the Thunder to 99 models and it is the first in a series of models based on Jaguar Land Rover’s portfolio. Tuned to produce 648bhp of power, the top speed for the vehicle is limited to 322kmph.
