Piaggio India is planning to launch its limited edition of Vespa Elegante at an official event organised by the brand in Pune. Some small changes will differentiate it from the rest of the lot, which are currently in the market. The current models that are in use in the current market are Vespa S, LX 125 and VX 125. The Vespa models of Piaggio have been in the market for decades and emerged as a favourite among scooter lovers.
The new model, Vespa Elegante will have a base, which is inspired by the VX 125 scooter. The brand had previously launched a limited edition Vespa Esclusivo sometime earlier on the same platform. What differentiate the new variant are its design features being inspired from Primavera, which is the international offering of this brand. This is one of the most talked about aspects of the Elegante and fans will be eagerly waiting for its launch.
Mechanically, the Elegante will be the same with its previous models. It will run on a 125 cc air-cooled engine with almost similar power output as the current variants. The triangular front grille, tubeless tyres and a round headlamp will be some of the most striking features of the new scooter. There are chances that the retro split seat configuration might be launched on this model. It is expected to be priced at approximately 79000 INR. White and brown will be the new colour options available on this model apart from its regular tinges.
