Maruti Suzuki has featured a special edition of the Swift Dzire on their official webpage. This ‘Allure edition’ benefits from some cosmetic enhancements and additional features in the cabin.
The cosmetic tweaks include 'Allure' decals on the body and a special 'Allure' badging. Then there are side skirts, chrome bumper protectors, a boot-lid chrome garnish and chrome window frame. The carmaker has equipped the interior with a dual tone beige and chocolate brown coloured seats. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather and there is faux wood trim on the dashboard and door pads as well. Apart from a cushions, front centre arm rest, sill plates, beige floor mats, customers can also opt for a Nertz infotainment system as an add-on feature.
The Swift Dzire Allure edition continues to get the same engine options as the current car. This includes a 1.2-litre K-series VVT petrol engine (84.3bhp, 115Nm) and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel mill (75bhp, 190Nm). Both these units comes mated to a five speed-manual, while the oil-burner can be had with an AMT gearbox.
The carmaker is offering this limited edition Swift Dzire in all six colours including sangria red, cave black, magma grey, silky silver, alp blue and pearl artic white. While prices are yet to be revealed, we can expect Maruti Suzuki to ask for a slight premium over the existing standard car on sale.
