      LeEco all-electric supercar unveiled

      LeEco, a popular internet and technology company from China has unveiled the Le Super Car. For cars, the company has setup its subsidiary LeAuto. The company will cover production, EV charging strategy, research and development, car sharing and after sale service. The Le Super Car is expected to emerge as a strong competitor against the Tesla cars.

      Much like the Tesla cars, the Le Super Car gets a battery pack inside the floor space which offers low centre of gravity and help with better driving dynamics. The interiors gets shape shifting seats, internet enabled touchscreens for the rear passengers and one for the front on the dashboard. Instead of the regular outside rear-view mirror, the vehicle gets cameras and the steering wheel is capable of folding itself in autonomous mode. The car gets a one-piece panoramic roof which flows from the front windscreen to the rear window.

      The Le Super car from LeEco will offer fully-automatic driving function and works on the idea of ‘inter-connection’. It will be capable of attaining a top speed of 130mph. The futuristic car will also come loaded with features like emotion recognition, facial recognition, path recognition and system recognition. The fancy futuristic car was introduced ahead of its official unveiling at the Beijing Auto Expo by LeEco founder Jia Yueting and Le Supercar co-founder Ding Lei.

      Back in February this year, LeEco had announced its partnership with Aston Martin to help them build the electric RapidE by 2018. For this purpose, the company has forayed into the business on its own with the LeSEE, where ‘SEE’ stands for 'Super Electric Ecosystem’.
