Further, stable driving performance and excellent quietness even during highway driving were realized through adoption of a lightweight and highly-rigid body and an exclusively-developed suspension.”

The launch of Honda N-One in Japan has given rise to the debate if such cars are suited for the Indian roads. This, debate is owing to various reasons, which include the driving conditions, its demands and the price tag for such a small car.

Traditionally, People in India have not preferred small cars; however, the success of mini cars like Mini Cooper and Volkswagen Beetle have opened way for other small vehicles in the country. Mini cars are largely preferred by the youth and people who are single. Thus, car makers who look forward to launching small cars in the country should target the young generation.

The Mini Cooper is available in India for Rs. 25 lacs, whereas the Volkswagen Beetle comes for a price tag of Rs. 21.22 lacs. The Honda N-One when launched in India, too would come with a price tag of more than Rs. 20 lacs. Given the appealing looks and host of features N-One has, it should be successful in luring the elite youths of the country.
