      Land Rover to celebrate 25th anniversary at the 2012 New York Auto Show

      The 2012 New York Auto Show that commences this April will mark the 25th anniversary of the Tata Motors owned Britain based subsidiary, Land Rover. An event will be organized by the company with an urban off-road adventure and a VIP Celebration.

      Land Rover has chosen the New York Auto Show to celebrate its long and successful 25 years of journey due to the fact that U.S has proved to be the largest market for its marquee SUVs and the city of New York is the country’s auto hub.

      The President of Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC, Mr. Andy Goss said in a statement, "The outlook for the company in this its 25th anniversary year is strong and confident.”

      He further commented that, "Our current product line-up is the strongest we've ever had and the U.S. consumer strongly embraces our brand. The deeply ingrained corporate values and dedication to the brand that were instilled by the original management team 25 years ago has served Land Rover well. Today, there's a renewed focus, enthusiasm and energy within the company,"

      The celebration event will take off with the magnificent showcase of the enthralling global portfolio of Land Rover such as 1987 Range Rover, 1993 Land Rover 110, 1994 Camel Trophy Discovery, 1995 Range Rover Classic, 1995 Camel Trophy Discovery and a 1997 Defender soft top.
