The Range Rover Evoque Convertible is all set to make an entry in the Indian market. Jaguar Land Rover will launch the convertible SUV in India tomorrow at a launch event in Mumbai.
The Evoque Convertible made its public debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Motor Show. With its launch in India tomorrow, it will be the country's first luxury convertible SUV. This drop-top Evoque is based on the HSE Dynamic edition of the Evoque, and will be loaded with premium features. Apart from the convertible roof which is the distinctive product feature, the rest of the vehicle's design will remain identical to the current Evoque on sale.
The new Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be powered by the existing 2.0-litre Ingenium four-cylinder petrol engine producing 237bhp and 340Nm of torque. This mill comes mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox delivering power to all the four wheels. More details and official prices will be announced tomorrow at the launch event.
