The much awaited new Victoria Beckham designed version of Land Rover’s latest Evoque luxury SUV was revealed by the company at the ongoing Beijing Motor Show. The company will be rolling-out only 200 units of the Land Rover Evoque Victoria Beckham Edition.
The new special edition will be produced at the production line of the regular version of the Evoque in Halewood, following which it will be given a makeover by the Engineering to Order division of Land Rover.
Powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, the three-door edition of the car will be capable of delivering a peak power of 237bhp. The SUV comes incorporated with a six-speed automatic transmission gearbox along with an efficient all wheel drive system.
The firm has announced in year 2010 that Victoria Beckham is working with Mr. Gerry McGovern, design chief of the Land Rover, to create an exclusive version of the Evoque SUV. While speaking on the revelation new special edition of Evoque, she said, “I want everyone who gets into this car to feel special and empowered by its quality and craftsmanship. I like that it feel luxurious but also has quite a classic edge to it as well as a contemporary feel.”
