Land Rover Discovery Sport is the latest one to be offered with a new 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine as a replacement to the older 2.2-litre diesel unit which was offered till date. With the fresh upgrade, the premium automaker, Jaguar Land Rover has discontinued the older diesel unit across its entire product lineup in the country.
The Discovery Sport from Land Rover is now offered with a new 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine that is offered in two state of tune – 148bhp/382Nm of torque and 177bhp/430Nm of torque. This powerful version is limited to top-spec HSE Luxury variant only, while the rest get 148bhp producing unit. All the variants come mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. For those interested in a petrol variant, the HSE trim is offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder engine that generates 237bhp and 340Nm of torque.
Apart from a revised diesel engine, the Discovery Sport continues to be offered with existing features. The prices (Ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the Land Rover Discover Sport is as follows –
