Lamborghini had launched their all-new hyper-SUV, the Urus across the globe and in less than a month, Lamborghini India has already announced its launch in here on 11 January 2018. While we were all waiting for the price tag, it seems that the love for the raging bulls has already made sure buyers have already lined up at the Lamborghini dealerships in India.
The Urus is the ultimate combination for Indians who love their SUVs and also like to GO fast. With its edgy design and oodles of power from the 4.0-litre twin turbocharged V8, the Urus also gets all-wheel drive with different modes for different off-road surfaces.
All the cars allotted to the Mumbai dealership have already been sold out and any new bookings will be taken for deliveries in 2019. The two other dealerships in the North and the South having strong buyer bases might also have already sold their slots out for 2018.
While the bookings are being taken at a nominal token amount as of now, the booking amount will increase to almost 10 per cent of the ex-showroom price of the Urus once the prices are announced on 11 January. We expect the Urus to be positioned alongside the Huracan, in line with its global positioning, and should carry an ex-showroom price tag roughly around Rs 3.5 crores.
