Globally popular sports carmaker Lamborghini will finally launch the much awaited Aventador S in the country tomorrow. The new hypercar from the sports carmaker has received a comprehensive mid-life cycle update this time that offer improved performance and better driving dynamics. The new model gets a four-wheel-steering system that makes it an impressive performer on the track.
The new Lamborghini Aventador S will be powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine that comes mated to a seven gearbox to generate a massive 730bhp of power. The hypercar’s top speed has been electronically restricted to 349kmph and does a 0 – 100kmph in just 2.9 seconds. The new model generates an additional 41bhp in comparison to its predecessor. The automaker has also claimed that the upcoming model has reduced drag by almost 400 per cent thereby offering the best of handling in the most slippery conditions.
The front fascia has been revised to create an additional 130 per cent of downforce, while the rear gets a three position wing which increases downforce up to 50 per cent. The front axle of the Lamborghini Aventador S gets a dynamic steering setup and the rear gets two separate actuators with five-millisecond-quick adjustments that respond as per the driver’s steering input. The new model gets revised pushrod and suspension setting for a quicker response. Additional details about the vehicle will be known post its launch in the country.
