      Lamborghini to celebrate its five decade old existence in global automobile industry in 2013

      Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A, the Italian and super sports car maker, has announced to celebrate its 50th anniversary in the global automobile industry in 2013. The celebrations are scheduled to begin from the start of next year and will be participated by Lamborghini dealers present across the globe. Further, the Italian auto maker has also unveiled a new emblem for the upcoming golden jubilee celebrations.

      The jubilations of 50 glorious years of Lamborghini are slated to be kick started in Italy, with the upcoming New Year gala celebrations. According to Stephen Winkelmann, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the company has planned to celebrate its golden jubilee in several countries worldwide throughout 2013 calendar year. The CEO affirmed that the celebrations scheduled for next year are going to be of a much grand scale, in line with the company's lineage and image acquired among global audience over all these years.

      The foundation stone of Automobili Lamborghini's was laid about five decades ago in May 1963. Accordingly, the Italian super sports car maker will celebrate its 50 year long innings in the global automotive industry throughout the first five months (January to May) of 2013, and finally ending the jubilation in May. Further, Lamborghini has also planned to organise a special '50th anniversary Grand Tour'. It has also been revealed that Lamborghini's 50th anniversary Grand Tour will see participation from the company's owners as well as its dealership partners from all across the world.

      Expressing his delight over the company celebrating its half a century old existence, Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., was quoted as saying, “Over the past 50 years, Lamborghini has represented the dream, legend and symbol of a unique, remarkable region – Emilia-Romagna – whose proud, determined people have given us models unlike anything else in the world. Even today, now that we are an international enterprise, this deep bond with our local history and culture is still very strong. We are certain that the events in Italy and abroad will make Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary a unique, memorable experience for all our fans, as they look forward to reliving first hand the emotions of the past, and savor the anticipation of a new and exciting future.”
