      Lamborghini Huracan registers 700 pre-orders

      The Lamborghini Gallardo's successor, Huracan has received an overwhelming response from buyers across the globe. The company has registered over 700 pre-orders for Huracan, since its announcement in December’13. Currently, Huracan is in a month long private preview tour worldwide for VIP clients. This is an excellent start for the successor to the best selling Lamborghini to date, the Gallardo.

      The Lamborghini Huracan is powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that churns out a massive power output of 610bhp and 560Nm of top torque. This engine accelerates to 100kmph from standstill in just 3.2 seconds and attains a top speed of 325km/h. Power is transmitted to fully electronically controlled four-wheel drive system via the new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission 'Lamborghini Doppia Frizione'.

      Set to be unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the Lamborghini Huracan will be the ‘star of the show’, and will be the first vehicle to be revealed at the exhibition, during a press conference given by President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann.
