Automobili Lamborghini, the iconic Italian high performance sports car maker, is all set to enthral the global audience with special edition models of its Veneno, super cars at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations in the automobile industry, Lamborghini has decided to enamour worldwide super sports car aficionados with the new Veneno, Aventador and Gallardo models.
Lamborghini’s new exciting mean machines look ominous and are certain to snatch the limelight from other high end cars at this year’s Shanghai auto salon. The Lamborghini Veneno super sports car is pegged to be the showcase to watch out for in Shanghai. The special edition of Aventador and Gallardo, along with Veneno are the Italian sport car maker’s 50th birthday presents to the global audience.
The special edition model of the Lamborghini Gallardo is called LP 560-2 50 Anniversario, and flaunts an enchanting new paint scheme, previously unseen on the super car. Further, this version has a transparent engine cover and stunning carbon fibre components derived from the Superleggera model. However, the Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario super car is the real deal. This ‘Raging Bull’ is more powerful than the Aventador LP 700-4 version, and is powered with a retuned 6.5 litre V12 power-mill.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario version sports a dual-tone paint scheme with the much fawned upon yellow Giallo Maggio colour on the upper body and matte black paint used on the lower portions. The Italian super car maker chose the bright yellow and matte black paint job because it is the most popular colour scheme used in Lamborghini models, since the days of iconic Miura. Further, the stunning sports car comes fitted with gloss-black wheels and a reworked front fascia featuring an extended splitter and larger air intakes. The rear portion has also been redesigned allowing superior engine ventilation and aerodynamics.
Further, the Lamborghini Veneno and Aventador, Gallardo Anniversario special edition models would flaunt the Raging Bull maker’s ‘50th’ anniversary emblem at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
