Showcased at the last EICMA motorcycle show, there have been a number of speculations about the KTM 390 Duke. Coming to the technical figures of the model, the bike is expected to feature a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, spark-ignition engine, which will have displacement of 373 cc. The maximum power churned out by this engine is anticipated to stand at 44 bhp, which will be complemented by the 6-speed claw shifted gearbox. With this engine, KTM 390 Duke is all set to give an adrenaline push to masses, who have a penchant for speed and thrill.

Reportedly, KTM Duke will be a flagship bike, which will set new heights of performance and style in the Indian market. Besides, KTM is not planning the launch of just 1 bike and rather 2 other models are also on its cards, namely KTM RC8 and 350 EXC.

Both of these models are also anticipated to be launched somewhere in April 2013. KTM RC8 is expected to come assimilated with a 1.2 litre engine, which will have a displacement of 1148 cc. The maximum power belted out by this power house is expected to stand close to 210 bhp with an alarming torque output of 120 Nm. With these figures, RC8 will come as a tough sports bike, which will stir the market dominance of other strong contenders of the same segment. On the other hand, the KTM 350 EXC happens to be a dirt bike, which will be equipped with a 349 cc engine. This model will not witness any competition in the market as no such model is currently offered in this segment, which is likely to be a pro for this upcoming model.

Following the launch of new bikes in the Indian auto space, the auto maker is looking ahead to record decent sales in the next fiscal. However, nothing is for sure as of now as a large section of buyers in the domestic market are price sensitive, who evaluates everything with the price tag attached with the offering.
