KTM, the well-appreciated Austrian bike maker, seems to have struck right chords with the hearts of Indian buyers after launching the Duke series with 125, 200 and 390 models. Experts believe that all these models offer an unmatched ride quality and true run for the money being spent on them. Also, the design has played a crucial role in the increasing popularity of these bikes. It must be noted that the Duke series has been inspired by the bigger Duke bikes and therefore, RC8 R is due for an update as the small RC series has finally done its show in the country.
At the launch of KTM in Italy, where all the top journalist were called from all over the world, it was told that new RC8 R is likely to welcome a change in several aspects. It must be noted that the RC series has been much appreciated for its unique designs. At the launch ceremony, the company officials also hinted that the KTM RC8 R will come equipped with a new 1301 cc engine, sourced from the SuperDukeR, along with the usual host of electronic aids. These electronic features help the rider achieve a safe driving experience on tracks and streets, where Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is a must.
Experts are of a view that if these hints come out to be true, auto enthusiasts all over the world will be left mesmerized with a radical looking bike from KTM. It must be noted that the RC8 R are put in the Indian showrooms but are not available for sale as Bajaj-KTM are not very interested on distributing Completely Built Units (CBU) here.
