This year will mark Kia’s fourth anniversary in India. It began operations with the Seltos in 2019, Carnival and Sonet in 2020 and then the Carens and EV6 in 2022. It will now update its locally produced models over the course of 2023 and here’s when you can expect them.
Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos globally saw a major update in 2022 with it getting a new interior, ADAS technology and some new exterior design bits. This updated version will make its Indian debut in July of this year, roughly four years after it was first unveiled.
Kia Carens
The Kia Carens is actually the newest of the lot and while we expect no exterior design changes, we believe that Kia will bring the same features found on the updated Seltos to the Carens. This car will be launched in India in September.
Kia Sonet
Kia’s compact SUV will be the final car on the list to get an update and we expect design changes as well as a major upgrade to the feature list possibly leaning more towards the feel-good side. The engine line up of two petrol and diesel mill is expected to go unchanged.
