Kawasaki has silently launched the Kawasaki ZX-10R 30th Anniversary edition in the Indian market. The vehicle was already launched globally early last year, and the Indian model is priced at Rs. 20,000 more than the regular model. The anniversary edition is available in Lime Green and Pearl Stardust shades, and there are 30th Anniversary Edition badges on both the sides of the fairing with a small Japanese flag.
Adding to it, the 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R 30th Anniversary edition is equipped with the rear monoshock paint in green. Also on offer are the white graphics on the side panels, fuel tank and tail piece. Inspired from the design of Kawasaki’s World Superbike Championship racer, the 2015 ZX-10R C&G edition comes with an aggressive styling. Talking about the powertrain, the special edition gets the 998cc 4-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power output of 200PS and a peak torque of 112Nm. This engine is clubbed to a six-speed gearbox to put power on roads.
It is equipped with technologically advanced features such as Ohlins-Kawasaki electronic steering damper, Traction control, Intelligent Anti-Lock Braking system, etc. The ZX-10R comes in India via a Completely Built Unit (CBU). It is priced at Rs. 15.70 lakh, while the 30th Anniversary edition cost around Rs. 15.90 lakh.
