At the 2014 EICMA Motor Show, Kawasaki showcased the street legal version of its performance oriented H2R sports bike- the H2 which has garnered positive response from motorcycling enthusiasts across the globe. Unlike the Ninja H2R, the H2 is a street legal bike which is all set to hit Indian shores soon.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 sports bike will be launched in the Indian market in March/April, 2015. The bookings for the bike have already commenced at a token amount of Rs. 10 lakh. It will be launched as CBU (Completely Built-up Unit), which will make it a really expensive one. The bike is expected to be priced around Rs. 32.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). Limited units of the sports bike will be allotted for the Indian market.
Kawasaki Ninja H2R is a track-only version, which is claimed to be the fastest ever production model. Both models are powered by the supercharged 998cc in-line four cylinder engine that is tuned to offer two power outputs- 200PS and 300PS. The street-legal Ninja H2 will get the 200PS, 998cc four-cylinder unit.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 sports bike is equipped with several advanced safety features including Traction control, launch control, intelligent anti-lock brake system, engine brake control, etc.
