      John Abraham likes collecting different types of helmets

      Actor John Abrahim has always been known for his love for bikes. The actor has been the face for Yamaha brand for quite a while and has also been spotted many times at global biking events. An avid biker himself, he has over a dozen collection to his name. Apart from bikes, a lesser known fact about him, is his hobby for helmet collection.

      During one of the event, John Abraham said, “Bikes are my passion and I take care of my helmets as my babies. Like people go and buy clothes, I go shopping for helmets. I have different helmets for different days. People feel I'm crazy, but I love shopping for my helmets and I have all major brands”. The actor is regularly seen during new bike launches, conducted by Yamaha across the country.

      John Abraham, on many occasions has stated the importance of wearing a helmet as a safety measure. On one occasion, the actor has been seen handing-out tips to be remembered while riding a bike. As reported, the actor said, “Indian roads, mainly Mumbai is not very conducive for two wheelers. There are riders who don't take any precautions and are very irresponsible. On the other hand, there are people who walk on the road without thinking and taking care”.

      Adding to the safety riding tips, actor John Abraham said, “Safety is very important and that's why helmets should be a biker's priority. Safety of pillion riders is also important and they should also wear helmets”. It is worth noting that hundreds of bikers loose their lives every year in India, due to head injury. Most of them are among the pillion rider lot, hence it is important for a biker as well as pillion rider to wear a helmet before beginning their journey. Safety first, it doesn't take much effort to wear a helmet, does it?
