British car marquee, Jaguar and Land Rover yesterday inaugurated its first showroom in Chhattisgarh. With the new showroom opened in Raipur, the company now has a total of 20 outlets in the country located in 18 major cities. The new dealership is located at NH-6, Ring Road 1, Raipur, that will be managed by Satyam Balajee Automotives (P) Ltd and will proffer sales and after sales services to the customers. The new outlet built over an area of 50,000 square feet has a capacity to exhibit around eight cars at a time.
Speaking at the occasion of inauguration of new showroom in Raipur, Mr. Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover, India said, “I am delighted to be opening our first showroom in the State of Chhattisgarh. The 3S facility in Raipur is the largest among the premium car dealerships in the state and reflects our commitment to set a new benchmark for customer experience.”
Raipur has outlets of other luxury brands including the German triad that have been leading in the segment for a long time. However, the company is confident that it would be able to lure customers to the showroom. Jaguar offers both completely built units and completely knocked down units in the domestic market. Demand for premium cars is soaring in India and JLR has emerged as one of the popular brands in the country since it has been witnessing rise in sales for past couple of months.
