Honda (UK) has donated the motorbike ridden by Daniel Craig in the opening sequence of the latest 007 movie Skyfall, to the widely popular BBC Children in Need annual fund raising auction. The modified Honda CRF250R motorbike is being auctioned on eBay, which also offers bidders to win amazing prizes and merchandise.
Honda CRF250R motorcycle was selected by the Skyfall's action vehicles and stunt crew team, for the opening scene that was filmed at Istanbul and Adana, Turkey. The motorbikes used in the film were modified and customised as a 'police' bike and a 'street merchant's' bike. Daniel Craig, rode the 'street merchant's' bike in the opening scenes of the blockbuster film.
Now that Honda has donated the Bike and it is available for auction, Bond fans from all over the world have an opportunity to own an actual 'street merchant' bike used by Daniel Craig in Skyfall. This way, not only will they own the bike but will also contribute funds for the worthy charitable cause. The bike which is available for auction on eBay will close to bidders on 22nd November, midnight.
Honda is optimistic that the bike will raise quite a huge amount for BBC Children in Need, which campaigns towards making difference to the lives of young people and disadvantaged children in the United Kingdom. The auction of the bike is part of a series of programmes and activities to raise the profile of the children’s fund raising campaign.
