      Jaguars hybrid supercar C-X75 to be launched soon

      Jaguar Land Rover, the iconic British brand that was acquired by Tata Motors about three years back, is all set to roll-out a super hybrid car – Jaguar C-X75. In a statement given on Friday, the company official said that the car will be priced in the range of British 700,000 pounds plus local taxes. The company will be manufacturing only 250 models of the car, initially.

      The all new hybrid Jaguar C-X75 will be delivering a super car’s performance by mixing international combustion power with electric motors. The CO2 emission of the car is less than 99gms/km and it is capable of reaching a top speed of 200 kmph. The car will be built using a direct technology transfer from motorsport engineering leader - Williams F1..

      Speaking to the reporters on Friday, Tata Motors’ CEO Mr. Carl-Peter Forster said, "This is the Jaguar of the future. It's fantastic that products like the C-X75 can become reality." He added that the opportunity for innovations like this in Britain is part of the reason why Tata Motors invested in Jaguar around three years ago.

      The car was displayed in a concept version at the Paris 2010 motor show where it had received an overwhelming response from visiting car enthusiasts.
