      Jaguar XF Sportbrake rear images leaked!

      Ahead of the unveiling of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show this March, the car’s rear images have been unofficially leaked. The images of this car readying for its European launch, are supposed to be extracted from the Jaguar’s promotional brochures.

      The XF Sportbrake is the estate version of the company’s XF four-door sedan and rear images reveals that the taillights and the integrated chrome shafts resembles those of the XF sedan. The boot space of the car is expandable as the rear seats can be folded to create additional space. In addition, the car will be featured with a sky hatch and a high mounted spoiler extending towards the rear hatch window.

      Though the technical specifications have not been disclosed, it is anticipated that this made for Europe car will consist of a 5.0L V8 engine with a series of turbocharged diesel powertrain.

      The British luxury auto maker is planning strategically to position the Jaguar XF Sportbrake against the established rivals such as BMW 5-Series Touring, Audi A6 Avant and Mercedes-Benz E-Class in the estate segment.

      As per Mr. Kevin Goult, Brand Manager, Jaguar Australia, the XF Sportbrake will be made available in the Australian market on ‘retail order only’, which implies that the car will be sold on the basis of orders received from the customers.

      The company will be officially showcasing the XF Sportbrake along with the elaborated technicalities and its global launch details at the upcoming auto show.
