Jaguar XE spotted in India ahead of official launch in 2016 Auto Expo Jaguar has been a global favourite in the luxury car segment. The Jaguar XE has been spotted on Indian roads with less than a month to go for its official launch during the 2016 Auto Expo event. The luxury sedan would be built at the company’s facility in Pune and could be offered at a lucrative price tag of Rs 38 lakh.

Under the hood, apart from the 2.0-litre petrol engine, the Jaguar XE sedan would also be offered with 2.0-litre diesel engine the company’s latest Ingenium engine family that generates about 161bhp of power. The sedan is stated to be built on an all-aluminium chassis. Deliveries for the vehicle would commence from 20th February and interested customers can book one by paying a booking amount of Rs 1 lakh. The new luxury sedan shall emerge as a strong competitor againstte likes of BMW 3-series, Audi A4 and the Mercedes Benz C-Class.
