British car marquee Jaguar has launched the new 3.0 litre Diesel variant of XJ sedan in India in two trim levels including Premium Luxury and Portfolio. As informed earlier the saloon will be assembled locally in India and is being offered at a starting price of Rs 92.1 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai, Pre-Octroi).
Jaguar has retained the design of the saloon, in fact there are no significant changes done on the car except the additional features that will come equipped in the new Jaguar XJ. Among the new features equipped inside the car a modified rear seat comfort pack with three massage seat functions, electric rear side window blinds, increased rear headroom, LED reading lights, 15.9 cm screens with entertainment system affixed at the rear and a new rear business table. Under the hood is a 3.0 litre, six, cylinder diesel powerplant that generates a pinnacle power output of 275 PD along with a peak torque of 600 Nm.
