Jaguar Land Rover, the British subsidiary of the India’s largest vehicle maker Tata Motors, inaugurated a new dealership in Kolkata on Monday. The launch of the new dealership is a part of company’s expansion plans in the Indian market, where it has been performing considerably well since last one year. The new Kolkata dealership will not only offer access to its range of JLR portfolio vehicles to a larger number of buyers in West Bengal, but will also enable the company to provide readily availbale vehicles to its customers.
The JLR vehicles which will be on offer at this dealership include Jaguar vehicles like XJ, XF, XFR, and the XKR Coupe and Convertible, and Land Rover’s Freelander 2, Range Rover Sport. Discovery 4 and Range Rover.
Speaking to the reporters at the occasion, Mr Rohit Suri, Head, Premier Car Division, Tata Motors, said, “The Kolkata area is a key growth market for premium luxury vehicles and thus, it is extremely important for our sought after Jaguar and Land Rover products to be readily available in this region. We are very pleased to be able to provide our customers with a great dealership here in Kolkata".
