What you see in the pictures is a camouflaged Jaguar F-Pace SVR that’s been spotted on test in Spain.

The prototype seen here has large air intakes which help feed cold air into the engine bay that holds a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 motor which is rumoured to make around 500bhp. With the substantial increase in power, expect the F-Pace SVR to get a stiffer suspension and beefier brakes, along with the redesigned alloy wheels and four exhaust tips that’s visible in the shots.

Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operation (SVO) division has already revealed that more SVR models will be released as the brand’s current SVR versions of the F-Type and Range Rover are doing well in the market. There are rumours that Jaguar is also developing an XE SVR with the 5.0-litre V8 motor to rival the BMW M3, Audi RS4, and the Mercedes-AMG C63.

We earlier reported about spotting the F-Pace SVR at the Nurburgring in September 2016, and Jaguar’s new offering should hit the international market, either before the end of 2017 or early 2018. Stay tuned to CarTrade for more information.
