Based on Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0, the all-new iX25 will feature LED daytime running lights, projector headlamps, swept back headlights, a three slat front grille integrated brake lights, tail lamps and rear spoiler. The compact SUV will measure 4,270mm in length, 1,780mm (width) and 1,630mm in height.

Having a wheelbase of 2,590mm, the compact SUV will offer a spacious and comfortable cabin. The interior design will look similar to the i20 Active, as it share various equipment and features with its hatchback sibling. It will get an all black dashboard, central console with a display and electronic climate controls, steering wheel with dual tone finish and silver accents and an instrument cluster. Safety features like four airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system) and EBD (electronic brake-force distribution) will also be on offer.

Though, there is no clarity on engines, we expect that the new Hyundai iX25 will be made available in three engine options – a 1.4-litre petrol, a 1.4-litre diesel and 1.6-litre diesel. All engines are the same that do doty on the Verna. Both the manual and automatic transmissions will on offer. Hyundai's compact SUV is likely to be priced in the range of Rs. 8 lakh - Rs. 12 lakh.
