The D-Max V-Cross is a premium car with the same body style as the D-Max pick-up, but looks better and gets more features. It is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder VGS Turbo Intercooled diesel (134bhp, 320Nm). Offered as a 4X4 variant, the vehicle gets the company’s new iGRIP (Isuzu Gravity Response Intelligent Platform) and a dial type shift-on-the-fly 4WD knob. ABS, EBD and front dual airbags are also on offer.

Shankar Srinivas, Senior. General Manager, Communications, PR and External Affairs, Isuzu Motors India said, "We are excited to be a part of the first edition of the India 4X4 week, where we are showcasing the newly introduced Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, India’s first Adventure Utility Vehicle. Isuzu has a strong legacy of making tough, durable and rugged vehicles that can perform in the most demanding terrains. This has been proven time and again with our successes in rally raids and off-road challenges across the world. The visitors at the India 4x4 week will get to experience the V-Cross first hand, and we are sure, in time, this vehicle will start a new trend in the adventure space in India."

With the D-Max V-Cross, Isuzu is mainly targeting an audience looking for adventure and utility, while wanting to have passenger car-like features and comforts. So apart from the adventurous looks, the cabin gets features like a seven-inch touchscreen entertainment system, multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control and a Multi Information Display. The India 4X4 Week 2016 will be a good platform to promote the new off-road vehicle amongst off-road enthusiasts and adventure seekers in our country.
