Isuzu announced the revision in car prices from 1 July with the implementation of GST. With effect, the MU-X has become eight per cent cheaper and the V-Cross prices are also down by six per cent.
Isuzu V-Cross has now priced the V-Cross at Rs 12,67,111 (ex-showroom Chennai), showing a reduction of 6 per cent in prices as compared to the pre-GST pricing. The 4X2 trim of the MU-X SUV has been priced at Rs 22,38,358. In comparison to the previous prices, the vehicle has become cheaper by 8 per cent.
This price reduction doesn't come as a surprise as all SUVs larger than four metres were going to get a price cut of 12 per cent. So this is down from 55 per cent to 43 per cent, which includes 28 per cent tax and 15 per cent cess. These are prices for Chennai only and the carmaker will soon reveal prices for other cities as well. We can expect the prices to go down further where the pre-GST tax slab was higher.
