The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is undoubtedly the country’s most-awaited bike of the year. The affordable sportsbike is expected to be launched in the next couple of months. One of the Youtube users has posted a video showing the unveiling of the new Pulsar 200 SS in an event in Cambodia. The host in the video also reveals few features of the bike.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is equipped with features like the auto twin projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, clip-on handle bars, short side-slung exhaust, and new fuel tank. If reports are to be believed, the sportsbike will be made available in two versions - ABS and non-ABS. The vehicle will be equipped with the single-channel Bosch ABS system. The India-spec model will get the mandatory saree guard. It will be made available in four paint jobs - Black, Yellow, Red and Blue. All models will be offered in dual-tone finishes with Black as permanent shade.

The affordable Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is propelled by the same 199.5cc single-cylinder engine that also powers the Pulsar 200 NS. This engine is capable of producing a top power output of 23.52bhp and a peak torque of 18Nm. Power is transferred to roads via a six-speed gearbox. The additional biking fairing will increase the weight of bike, so it is expected that the engine will be slightly tweaked to maintain the performance and efficiency. This motorcycle is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.2 lakh to Rs. 1.5 lakh, ex-showroom.
