The Hyundai i20 range in the UK comprises of plenty of trim levels and even a two-door body style. Now there’s even a turbocharged version that’s just being introduced. The latter is priced from £12,975 (Rs 11.53 lakh) on-road and has already hit the showrooms in the UK.
Meeting the growing trend for small capacity turbo petrol engines, the i20 Turbo features a 100bhp 1-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine. Paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox, this tiny engine allows the i20 to accelerate from 0-100kmph in 10.9 seconds.
The car is fitted with distinctive 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, cruise control with speed limiter, and a leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls as standard. The i20 Turbo is now on sale in the UK and competes with cars like the Vauxhall Astra and the VW Polo.
