Making things interesting this year is the new Hyundai Santo making a comeback this festive season, the company has also revealed its plans to launch the all-new Grand i10 in India in 2019.

Although the company has chosen to remain tightlipped about its development plans we believe that it will be based on an all-new platform, which is expected to be lighter, flexible, safer and wider than its predecessor.

The 2019 Grand i10 will get fresh design upgrades, however will not lose its youthful and tall-body styling element. As for its interior, it is speculated that the new model will be offered with new dual-tone upholstery for freshness and a touchscreen infotainment system. The standard safety feature vehicle will be offered with dual front airbags and ABS.

Mechanically, we expect that the all-new Hyundai Grand i10 will be powered by the existing petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version will continue with the 1.2-litre Kappa engine that develops 81bhp of power and 114Nm, while the diesel version will get the current 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine that generates 74bhp of power and 190Nm of torque.
