Hyundai Sonata Transform - a User Review with Actual Photos

The new Sonata Transform is really a great transformation from the older version. It offers many new features including 8 way adjustable driver seat, dual zone FATC (fullly automatic temperature control), AUX and USB port and other audio devices, all of which will certainly boost comfort level.
The performance of the 2.4 VTVT petrol version has been increased significantly to 175BHP, and the 2.0 CRDI has beenr raised to 150 BHP. The onroad price of 2.4VTVT in Bangalore is 16.9 lac and that of CRDI M/T is 18.1 Lac, and the automatic's on road price is 19.6 Lac. Though there is no significant change in price, the car still offers improved and updated features which boost the lure to take a test drive.
If we compare the cars within Sonata's segment, such as VW Jetta and Honda Accord, the power in Sonata is greater compared with Jetta but the power of the Accord beats both of them.
In fact we cannot avoid thinking that there is similarity in body shape of Accord and Sonata transform!
We can say that Hyundai has put a lot of effort in bringing back the charm Sonata created when it was launched first time, and quite successfully too. The Sonata Transform certainly a tough competition for Jetta and Accord and it will be very interesting to know the actual success on road.
The interiors of the car have been improved but what stands out most is the power-operated driver seat adjustable in 8 directions, ensuring great feel of luxury and comfort. The car's engine pick up and and power are tremendous, the ride quality is good and somewhat similar to older version. The illumination of the control panel with blue lighting gives a cool impression and the controls provided on steering wheel adds to the comfort and ensures a great comfort - as good as the back seat occupants - for the driver.
