The new Genesis sedan has been showcased at the 2014 Geneva Motor show. As per sources, the luxury sedan shall first make way in limited numbers to UK and European markets for a general market survey. The car is purely a show-stopper at the Geneva Auto show owing to its stunning looks and beautifully crafted interiors. As per an official press release, the all new sedan is a result of a 500 billion Won (€342 million) investment by Hyundai over a four-year period. The Genesis is primarily designed for Korean and USA markets.
The Hyundai Genesis sedan is powered by 3.8 Litre V6 GDI engine that generates ample power and torque at all engine speeds. Its highly powered engine is mated to 8-speed automatic transmission that delivers breathtaking performance. The power packed sedan is available in HTRAC all wheel drive option for the European market, whereas the UK version only comes with a two wheel drive option. The car also boasts about featuring the world's first CO2 cabin sensor that monitors the interior’s CO2 levels to prevent potentially dangerous circumstances that may arise due to drowsiness.
Hyundai has left no stone unturned while focusing on the driving aesthetics with the Smart Cruise Control feature. Security aspect is taken care of by the Automatic Emergency Braking, Sophisticated multi-link front and rear suspension, and perfect near-equal weight distribution. Interiors are spacious and have been designed to deliver complete comfort even during long journeys.
