Hyundai, the Korean automaker, will soon launch the 2015 model year of Santa Fe in India. The vehicle is likely to receive new features, though there will be no mechanical or design changes made to the car.

The 2015 Santa Fe will get an 8-inches touchscreen navigation system, with voice assist and route guidance, which is claimed to be the largest-in-segment. The system will also offer free map updates for 3 years from the date of purchase. It will also get a DVD player with iPod, USB, Bluetooth and Aux-in connectivity. On the exterior, the SUV features automatic headlights that automatically gets on in dark.

The engine, however, will remain same. The 2015 Santa Fe will continue to be powered with a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, paired either with a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. This engine develops a maximum power of 197PS with 445Nm of torque, while the manual version offers a torque output of 429Nm.

The automatic variants are offered in both the 2WD and 4WD drivetrain with a 6-speed torque converter, while the manual version is available only with two-wheel drive system.

Hyundai is also testing an updated model of the SUV in Korea which is likely to make its debut in Q4 2015. The speculations suggest that the SUV facelift might soon come to India as well.
