The American unit of the Korean auto giant Hyundai Motors has launched new 2013 version of premium Sports Utility Vehicle – Santa Fe. The company has launched both 5 and 7 seater versions of the SUV in both regular and long wheelbase version. The new Santa Fe is considerably lighter in weight as compared to the previous version of the SUV.
The Santa Fe Sport model will be available in three engine options including a 2.4 liter Gasoline Direct Engine, 2.0 turbocharged GDI engine and a 3.3 liter GDI V6 engine (only available with the long wheelbase version of the car).
As far as changes at the exterior front are concerned, the new Santa Fe is blessed with a range of cosmetic changes including three bar hexagonal front grille, lower stance, LED headlight accents, and higher beltline. The both five and seven seater models of the vehicles are available with 19" wheels and chrome exhausts and door handle accents and body colored mirror.
Inside, the new Santa Fe is equipped with a heated rear seats and eight way power driver seats with special Essentials seat fabric treatment, which not only offers seat covers with soil resistant coating but also provides anti odor and anti static properties.
